Our clinical service is extremely busy, with over 1,000 cases per year, including pediatric neurointerventional procedures. The fellowship program offered at UAB/Childrens of Alabama is one year in duration and is fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Pediatric Neurosurgery Fellowships. Each fellow receives extensive operative experience in the full range of pediatric neurosurgery cases, as well as experience with the important decision making that goes on perioperatively. He performs an average of 300 such procedures a year.
